Video: 13 Year Old Rapper Lil Mouse Accused Of Threatening To Kill 3rd Grader

He’s known for his age, size and lyrics. Now, rapper Lil Mouse is accused of threatening to kill a boy nearly half his age.

The boy’s grandmother says her 8-year-old is scared and doesn’t want to go back to West Pullman Elementary School.

She filed a police report earlier this week, just moments after she says her grandson was walking down the hall when Lil Mouse slapped him and told him, ‘when we catch you we are going to kill you.’

“I wanna pack up and just go,” the boy’s grandmother tells FOX 32 of the situation. “I’ve already lost one child and I don’t want to lose another one.”

The third grader went to the office and that’s where his grandmother says he was threatened again.

“The students, the eighth graders have grouped up together…made a phone call and said he’s snitching, He need to get killed for snitching,” she says.

The family says Lil Mouse has been picking on her third grade grandson for weeks. The grandmother says rival gangs in their neighborhood have been targeting the family since 2009 when her 16-year-old son Fred Couch was killed.

When investigators charged and convicted a neighborhood thug and sentenced him to life in prison, the threats went into high gear.

Just last month, the family says gang members shot up the house next to there’s while that family was sleeping inside.

“It doesn’t make any sense that all these random shootings out here and ain’t nobody opening up their mouth saying anything about these teenagers killing teenagers,”

a neighbor says.

Patrick Trapp has been working with adolescents for 15 years. He says even at a young age children who grow up in high crime areas are only acting out what they see every day.

“Kids who are surrounded by violence,” says social worker Patrick Trapp. “It’s kinda what their culture everyday culture is largely about. They tend to look for, like we all do anything that supports our reality.”

FOX 32 has learned that Lil Mouse spent hours at a South Side police station Tuesday night. He was interviewed for hours and police sources say the Mouse was charged with assault.

Because of their ages and sensitive nature of this case, CPS officials could not tell us when or if, Lil Mouse will be expelled from West Pullman Elementary.

That’s not enough for a scared little boy’s grandmother.

“One of the young men’s’ father threatened me outside the school,” she says. “I wanna move cuz he threatened me and I believe that he’s going to go through with it.”

The boy’s grandmother tells FOX 32 News that the 8-year-old has been given an emergency transfer out of West Pullman Elementary School.
