Sure, sneaker culture has been on the rise for the past decade or so, but whatever collections you’ve seen before will be put to shame by Mark “Mayor” Farese, who’s rocking $750,000 of footwear in his home.
Over the years, he’s amassed 3,000 pairs, ranging from your run-of-mill, off the rack pairs to limited edition Air Jordans that can command thousands of dollars from collectors.
Some simple math to demonstrate just how many sneakers this guy has: If he never wore the same pair twice, he could go eight years without running out of shoes. And since his sneaker collection continues to grow, I’m guessing that he’d amass at least a few more years’ worth during THAT time.
I hope he’s able to find some use out of all of them, even if he has to change several times per day.
