If your in the Atlanta downtown and in the mood for some Caribbean food we have the hook up on that. Mangos Caribbean Restaurant offers platters of jerk chicken wings, bowls of “Rasta pasta,” and spicy stewed oxtails, to name a few.
This spot offers authentic recipes thanks to Matthew “True” Nelson, who moved to Atlanta from the Virgin Islands in the early ’90s.
Mangos is a brand-spankin’-new restaurant on Auburn Avenue that’s equal parts authentic and date-friendly. It doesn’t matter if you want to sip some mango lemonade or your craving some oxtails (cooked with a secret spice blend) and jerk chicken (broiled, then grilled for that tasty, smokey char) they got you.
