Vinson Hardimon aka “Young Vito”Indicted For Murder of Slim Dunkin
ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) – A Fulton County Grand Jury indicted a local rap artist in the December murder of 24-year-old Mario Hamilton, aka “Slim Dunkin.”
Vinson Hardimon, aka “Young Vito,” was formally charged Tuesday with murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Hamilton was murdered on Dec. 16, 2011 during a recording session at a Memorial Drive studio in Atlanta.
Investigators said Hamilton was inside a recording booth while Hardimon was waiting for his turn. Hardimon is accused of entering the booth and punching Hamilton. The two men ended up getting into a fight and Hamilton was shot in the chest, investigators said.
Hamilton was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Hardimon fled the scene, but turned himself in 10 days later.No future court dates have been scheduled at this time for Hardimon.

You cant judge a persons character just because youve grown up differently.. You dont know what Vito was going through before that day. Im not defending him or anything but you as a black man should be very familiar with the difficulties we go through and how easily it could be for us to crack and pull a gun on someone
