Blige, Faith Hill, Denzel Washington, Trudie Styler and Sting watch as U.S. President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama walk onstage at the Neighborhood Inaugural Ball in Washington January 20, 2009. Barack Obama took power as the first black U.S. president on Tuesday and quickly turned the page on the Bush years, urging Americans to rally to end the worst economic crisis in generations and repair the U.S. image abroad.

Very nice pictures. Michelle and Barack make a stunning couple, loved Michelle’s dress and you can tell that Barack is still head over heels for Michelle. The way he looks at that women..whooooo….I know they cant wait to get back to the white house and bring it “on in” lol.

Beyonce’s performance was really good. I didn’t like her dress but her face was flawless. Shakira looked beautiful, but, they should’ve taken that microphone away from her. Her singing was horrendous. Alicia looked great also. So did Mary. I enjoyed the Obama’s dance. It was so sweet. Watching Michelle and Barack dance and see the love in their eyes, makes me wish I had a husband or a boyfriend atleast
Oh yeah and WTF what’s up with Mariah’s performance?! She was singing flat and off key. I know the old Mariah would’ve tore that song up. And she is definitely preggers either that or she put on a few pounds.
Beyonce sounded great — I just don’t think her choice of dress was the most flattering. The color and the shape….didn’t like.
