The multiplatinum-selling rap star reveals the inspiration behind his new LP–which goes on sale in May–in an interview with the April 16 issue of Rolling Stone.

“The rock shit just comes from what my life is now,” the 26-year-old Grammy winner says in this week’s edition of Rolling Stone. “I’ve grown into this person.”

I read today that Baby is denying the rock concept associated with the Rebirth album.
