lil flip along with david banner were some of the first southern rappers to get million dollar plus record deals despite only receiving moderate success. if i am not corrected, lil flip get about 2 million upfront. however, that is a whole lot of money that he could have used elsewhere (including purchasing a gym a home). besides, the people that sold him that jewelry paid or used probably 1/4th of the cost to make it.
