Kim Dotcom’s Successor to Megaupload, MEGA, is Officially Live

· January 19, 2013

If I had to choose a theme song for Megaupload it would be Rick Ross “These Niccas Can’t Hold Me Back”.. After a year of being brought down by the United States Justice Department brought due to piracy allegations they are officially back under the name Mega, the new file-sharing service from Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom. According to Gizmodo Mega automatically encrypts everything you upload so neither it nor anyone else knows the contents of your file unless you tell them.

Try it for yourself.

Wow. I have never seen anything like this. From 0 to 10 Gigabit bandwidth utilization within 10 minutes.
