Kendrick Lamar Says Papoose’s ‘Control’ Response Was Comical, Los Had The Best Reply, Loves NYC & Wants No Part Of An East Vs. West Beef

· August 29, 2013

Kendrick Lamar called into Hot 97 this morning to discuss his controversial “Control” verse with Peter Rosenberg. He said that he is trying to uplift the culture and wants not part of an East Coast vs. West Coast beef. He gave props to Joell Ortiz and Joe Budden for their responses, but thinks Los had the best reply. He found Papoose’s response to be comical.

K. Dot added that he hasn’t heard from any of the rappers he named in the song, has love for New York because he had his first sold out show there, thinks Maino made a lot of good points in his interview about the subject and more.
