Deron Williams is in Istanbul, meeting with Billy King and Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov as they watch the Euroleague Final Four.
King and Prokhorov are there to meet with Bojan Bogdanovic, who was the Nets' second-round pick last season, and will also take a look at Andrei Kirilenko, who is playing for CKSA. But the fact that Williams is also there has to be considered a good sign for the Nets in their hopes of re-signing the free agent. The Mavericks are likely to make a strong run at Williams this summer, but the Nets appear to be the early favorite in the race. As for Kirilenko, rumors are rampant that the Nets will sign him, but nothing has been substantiated on that front.
