I’m sure most of you know about the whole family guy characters getting killed off, but I don’t know if anyone else looked into this. Via JunieMonkeys

I thought about the pros and cons of each family member potentially dying off until I noticed something critical that has been staring me right in the face this whole time! The Simpsons/Family Guy cross-over episode.

What does The Simpsons/Family Guy cross-over have to do with any of this? Allow me to explain. I originally thought that this episode would take place sometime during season 12. This one little detail that I previously overlooked may shed some light on which Family Guy family member will die. The plot for the episode is as followed.

In the episode, Peter and the rest of the Griffins embark on a road trip and wind up in Springfield. There, they cross paths with Homer, who graciously greets his new “albino” visitors, and the two families become fast friends. Stewie is impressed with Bart and his assortment of pranks, Lisa tries to figure out exactly what it is that Meg’s good at, and Marge and Lois do some bonding. Meanwhile, Peter and Homer argue over which beer is better: Pawtucket or Duff. I’m sure you see where this is going…

This episode is set to take place after the episode that involves a major family member getting killed off. Obviously the plot for The Simpsons Guy doesn’t reveal the replacement, but it fails to mention the likes of Brian and Chris. This could be a way to throw people off, or a glimpse into the future of Family Guy.

Who do you think it will be?

    I have two theories:
    1. Remember that Family Guy has been getting less popular lately, so maybe the executive producer was just saying that one of the main characters will die to get more viewers.
    2. Since Family Guy is a comical surreal animated sitcom, I am almost positive that if a main character does die their death will probably be non-canon
