R.I.P Sean Taylor died after being Shot In Leg
PALMETTO BAY, Fla. — Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Florida after being shot Monday morning, the team has confirmed.
The shooting happened early Monday in the 18000 block off Old Cutler Road in Palmetto Bay.
The Washington Redskins said in a statement on Monday that the organization is aware of the shooting and that authorities are investigating the incident. The Redskins reported that Taylor is undergoing treatment at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
According to WTVJ, NBC’s Miami affiliate, police are investigating a burglary and shooting at Taylor’s home. Taylor was shot in the leg, WTVJ reported.
Miami-Dade police confirmed that air rescue was dispatched to the scene.
