According to a report from the New York Post, a Manhattan man was sentenced on Monday to seven years in prison after after cops stopped him for “fare-beating.” During his arrest, officers discovered he was carrying an illegal handgun. According to the report, Ruben Sanabria, 37, was caught with a loaded .40-caliber handgun on March 30. Two cops grabbed him after he hopped over a turnstile and found the weapon in his waistband. Sanabria pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.
