7 Martin Luther King Jr. Quotes You Never Hear

· January 20, 2013

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

This sentence spoken by the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. has been quoted countless times as expressing one of America’s bedrock values, its language almost sounding like a consti*utional amendment on equality. King’s legacy included much more than that.

@ATL4xtra Idk. No one cares I guess. Aint like we don’t go through this every year. Its nothing new. Meanwhile, the powers that keep MLK’s legacy alive would love to see us just forget about Malcolm X. We won’t.

Well, the issue back then was CIVIL RIGHTS and we were almost forced to unite.
Now its economics and it has turned our environment into a full blown rat race.

you right. We weren’t materialistic back then. Its a rat race that doesn’t end until you’re dead or too old to give a fuq about cloths cars and h0es.

King was a genious, all of his quotes reign true to this day. We need more leaders like him and Brother Malcolm. These cats we got today are not cutting it. powerful quotes from a powerful messenger.  the gov was so afraid of what this man was able to achieve with a peaceful movement that they bring him down.  why?  he was unifying the black nation.  and he was attracting and inspiring more like minded brothers.  even malcolm x, shortly before his death, was starting to agree with some of mlk’s approach to doing things.  the results were undeniable.
