Without actually saying how old I am, lets just say, I grew up during the “Mis-Education of Lauren Hill” era. And I’m a fan, but it wasn’t until a few weeks ago…that I learned she was a rapper. I actually disputed this fact when first told this. Well, I was wrong. She was indeed a rapper. Looking back at those old songs it’s clear she’s was a Rapper/R&B artist, but at the time… I never associated her music with rap. It wasn’t similar to the rap songs out of that time and was a completely new sound and probably why she enjoyed so much sucess in those early years.
Anywho, glad to see her doing shows again.

Good to see her back, but she better not pull the 2 or 3 hours late to your own concert thing again.
