Lakers Considered Signing Iverson
The Lakers considered signing Allen Iverson, according to sources close to the situation, with the condition being that Iverson first play in the D-League.
Iverson is currently being pursued by Venezuelan team Guaros de Lara and Puerto Rican club Indios de Mayaguez.
The Lakers are also reportedly interested in Rafer Alston, who last played for the Nets during the 2009-10 season. Source

Conflict or not, anything is better than having Fisher as the starting PG…and at this point in his career i’m pretty sure A.I. knows this is his last rodeo so I don’t think they have 2 worry about him bringing them any headaches…plus him and Kobe have always respected each other and everybody and they grandma knows that’s Mr. Bryant’s team.

They was talkin about a gilbert arenas deal about a week ago talkin about “well he’d have to fight fisher for a starting posistion.” wtf?
How could LA get Deron Williams? The Nets are not letting him go that easy….

Must be slim pickins out there for them to choose from. No nice point guards in the d league now? Gotta reach back in the past & pull out these has beens nobody wanted when they were in the NBA. They both were catchin cases when they had there last “last chance”. I hope there ready now.
