Blake Griffin Is Not Competing In The Dunk Contest This Year
Clippers forward Blake Griffin has good news for everyone planning on entering the 2012 NBA All Star dunk contest..He won’t be defending his title. Thursday he learned he was voted into the All-Star Game as a starter.
“As of right now I don’t plan on being in it,” Griffin said Thursday night. “Those dunk contests aren’t my thing, I said that last year. There’s a lot of guys that can put on a great show and do some good stuff.”
“Last year was hectic and it kind of made it unenjoyable,” Griffin said. “So this year, we’ll see what will happen, but I will try to tone it down a bit and get a break instead of being so busy.”

If you read through his “politically correct” reason you can tell that he simply ran out of ideas and doesn’t feel he can do anything 2 top his amazing performance from last year…basically the same thing that happened 2 Vince.
All he gotta do is tell some body to try and block his dunks and just yam on niggas. That **** would be too funny
Typical NBA bullshit!! Dudes win a dunk contest & the next season they feel they’re too big to defend their title. His ego is now super huge, now everytime he dunks he has to stare down an opponent #cockyswag!!! He’s basically only known for dunking but now he’s too busy to compete smh LOL. Youngins these days LOL
the dunk contests haven’t been all that great for a while now anyway. took bg damn near 10 tries to make that dunk over the car last year lol.
He won. That dont make his performance nice.
good my man javale mcgee was rob last year!!!!!!
Dats not It, he PRACTICE jumping over a Moving Toyoya SUV, but the brakes gave out, leaving falling flat on his ego!
