MIAMI, Fla. — Miami police are looking for at least one gunman, after a dozen people were shot early Monday morning on the streets of Miami.

Witnesses said the shooting happened at a party at a home on Northwest Fifth Avenue and Seventh Street.

A witness told Local 10’s Sasha Andrade they heard a firework go off, and moments later, gunfire.

“We are not sure what the motives were. We do know we are looking for at least one possible suspect that is described as a black male wearing all black. Again, there could have been several shooters,” Det. Marano told Local 10.

According to police, 12 people were shot and one person was struck by a car while trying to get away from the scene.

Many of the victims are reportedly teenagers.
